Burial

Burial's South London Boroughs EP was definately one of my favourite records of last year, and if you havn't checked out his suffocating, stripped slant on dubstep, you should. I guess it sounds like a London version of Detroit techno - but in intent, rather than sonics.

There's an interesting interview with him over at Blackdown, whetting my appetite for the LP. Amazed that he doesn't use a sequencer, just Soundforge. The whole way he makes his music, not being able to go edit or change what he's written... And love the bit where he talks about dubstep producers wandering in ditches away from the highway lights.

Going to be big this year.

Record sounds interesting.

Now that you're in the blogosphere, you get to have all these other people with blogs leaving messages on your blog, inviting you to click on their blog and leaving vaguely complimentary messages about your blog so you feel slightly guilty if you don't click on their blog too and say kind meaningless things about them.
Nice blog dude.
Have I told you about my blog by the way?

By the way, I'd change your settings so people have to fill in a code before they post. Otherwise, you'll get loads of messages like this: "Wow. great Blog!!!!! Really interesting. Perhaps you'd like to look at mine, it will help you get a BIGGER PENIS ENLARGEMNT!!!!!!! Viagra. Tits. Grils. Barely legal. Oh christ I've jsut come."
